Founded in 2015 by Laurent Tritschler, the COX Gallery has made a name for itself in Bordeaux as a venue dedicated to showcasing and promoting contemporary urban art.
Situated in the iconic Chartrons district, this spacious 500m2 gallery is split into two distinct areas: one boasting an industrial aesthetic, while the other showcases typical characters found in Bordeaux architecture.
Through its diverse exhibitions, the COX Gallery invites visitors to explore the world of street artists, where various styles and creative processes blend, compete, and intertwine, offering an exclusive panorama of the current art movement.
The gallery features internationally acclaimed artists alongside emerging talents, presenting viewers with unique artworks that seamlessly merge urban influences with more distant inspirations. These pieces embody a captivating mix of figuration and abstraction, spontaneity, and a quest for perfection.
In this collective exhibition I participated with two paintings. Two portraits of women.
